ternYpe – International Roma Youth Network is launching a call for mentors within the project Roma Youth Policy Influencers – Roma Youth Consultative Body, supported by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
About the Project
Following a 6-day international training in Berlin, 20 Roma youth activists from 10 European countries will conduct national monitoring of youth and Roma inclusion policies.
The mentorship phase is a core element of the project and ensures quality, coherence and political relevance of the outputs.
Role of Mentors
The mentorship period will run from mid-March to December 2026 and will take place primarily online.
Mentors will:
- Guide participants in policy monitoring and analysis
- Support identification of gaps in national strategies
- Provide structured feedback on draft monitoring reports
- Contribute to the coherence of the European advocacy paper
- Participate in online coordination meetings
Mentors play a key role in strengthening watchdog capacities and advancing implementation of CM/Rec(2023)4 on Roma youth participation.
Honorarium
This is a paid position. Mentors will receive a fixed fee of 400 EUR (gross) for the full mentorship period.
